ARUNDEL MUSEUM SOCIETY
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 17 October 2011. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
The Society maintains an extensive collection of artefacts and photographs chronicalling the history of Arundel. Entrance is free. The Society runs guided walks and gives public talks. There is an active schools and youth group link programme. In 2010 it received a Round 1 HLF grant and is in the process of completing its negotiations and fund raising activities to build a new museum in Arundel.

About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
