THE CHIDELL SCHOLARSHIP FUND
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 10 February 2017. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
The primary object is the advancement of education generally and in particular at Aldwickbury School. The Trustees aim to award Chidell Scholarships, which are granted on grounds of general all-round attainment or academic excellence or where parents or guardians find themselves unexpectedly unable financially to maintain the pupil at the School or other approved educational establishment.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers.
