RED HOUSE MUSEUM CHRISTCHURCH ARCHIVES AND LOCAL HISTORY FUND

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 9 February 2013. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

The Charity is non-operational pending decision to transfer to the Red House Museum Friends OR to wind up.One of the three trustees has died but no details can be traced to enable change to documents. I can find no logical successor for the charity or anybody willing to take on Secretarial role. The main investment is with J P Morgan who need death certificate which I cannot supply.

In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
