ST BRANDON'S FUND
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 22 June 2018. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
The St Brandon Fund is a grant making charity. Its objectives are "To promote the education of girls and boys with a preference being given to the daughters of clergy of the Church of England". The trustees have adopted a policy for the time being that all income should be used to provide St Brandon scholarships to pupils at Wells Cathedral School in Somerset.

About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
