SOUNDSCENE TALKING MAGAZINE FOR THE BLIND
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 29 November 2023. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
We record and distribute approx 150 USB memory sticks weekly to the partially sighted and blind people in our area. We also donate a USB player to the listeners free of charge. We provide local news and information and encourage our listeners to take part in both indoor and outdoor social events. This service is provided completely free of charge.

About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
