BURSTOW WILDLIFE SANCTUARY

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 7 April 2009. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

Burstow Wildlife Sanctuary aims to provide for the rescue, care and rehabilitation of wildlife and domestic animals. Where possible wildlife is returned to its natural habitat or in the case of domestic animals new caring and vetted homes are found. If it is not possible to achieve this then a safe and secure home is provided by the sanctuary.

In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
