THE BRIT SCHOOL LIMITED

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 25 August 2011. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

We operate as The BRIT School, the only free vocational school for the performing, visual and digital arts in the UK. We admit students into Years 10 and 12, selected on the basis of their aptitude for their intended specialism. Our catchment area consists of most of Greater London plus parts of suburban Surrey and Kent; we can also admit up to 10% of students from outside this area.

In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
