NYSTAGMUS NETWORK

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 27 May 2021. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

1. Help and support the 1 in 1,000 people estimated to have poor vision due to nystagmus, and also those who are affected by it such as friends and family. 2. Promote research to improve the quality of life of those with nystagmus and investigate prevention, treatments and cures. 3. Raise awareness and understanding of nystagmus.

In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
