THE SOCIETY OF THE PRECIOUS BLOOD
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 16 July 2026. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
We follow a traditional monastic pattern of life. All our services of worship are open to the public and guest accomodation is available for private retreats and quiet days. We provide a listening ear to those who may be helped by it. Talks on prayer & religious life are sometimes given to visiting groups. Financial support is given for the care of the Society's elderly Sisters in Africa.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
